My story starts back in primary school when I was wearing my favourite, but far too small, boots. This led to me having to cut, and eventually pull, the nail out from the root. The worst part was the summer, having to take my shoes off to put on flip-flops or sandals until I discovered Antonia, who explained that I probably had nail fungus.
